These are my sketchnotes from Susan Miller and Tina Cesa Ward’s workshop on marketing and selling a webseries at Raindance. They were in town promoting Anyone But Me so it was great to finally meet them and hang out.

It made me recall an article that I wrote for Tubefilter way back in 2009 called ‘Confessions of Indie Web Series Creators: Things They Wish They Knew’ - lessons that are all still useful three years later!

I’ve just watched the first online episode of The Bloody Mary Show, a new series that promises to have real bite! It’s a real gem of a first episode- in eight spooky minutes it gave me some genuine laughs, introduced intriguing characters (all beautifully designed and realised), set up the central conceit of the series and ended on a very sexy and intriguing scene. It has definitely whetted my appetite and I urge you all to go take a look at the links below.  So far, I’d say it’s like Rentaghost with blood, sex and booze, or what Being Human could be if it was still funny.
